We were surfing the internet and found this Fast 8 “Save The Date” on line. How cool is this??!! It is a picture of Vin Diesel taking his daughter for a ride in our Mongoose 1963 Corvette on the set of Fast Five. It is pretty cool to see they are advertising their save the date along side our Corvette!! Proud builder moment; that’s for sure!! We can’t wait to see our Mongoose 1963 Gasser in the upcoming Fast 8 movie!! Any exposure is good exposure!!
We have been so busy in the shop on both the Mongoose Motorsports side of the shop and also on the Portage Trim side of the shop. The warm winter weather that we’ve had so far has been a blessing to us. When the sun is shining our phones ring off the hook and we’ll take it!! No job is too big or small for us to handle!! Saturday morning we hosted a nice group of fellow Corvette Club members from the Shenango Valley Corvette Club based out of Sharon, PA. Special thanks to everyone in the club that got up early and made Mongoose Motorsports & Portage Trim a place of interest. Yesterday we had a special guest that came all the way from Nicaragua to visit us here at Mongoose Motorsports. During his visit to the United States he toured several prestigious automobile facilities and this is what he had to say “The best part of my trip was getting a photo in the Fast Five car; totally fantastic”!! That comment made our day!! Will, thank you for making Mongoose Motorsports one of your many United States destinations!! Special thanks to our good friend Morgan, President of NEOCC, for making this all happen!!

We are having a great week here at Mongoose Motorsports!! Our 1963 Corvette Gasser makes it in the Fast 8 commercial and then we found out we were voted #1 Car Cruise by Crusin’ Times Magazine. That is quite an honor to say the least!! Thank you to everyone who voted us #1. We couldn’t do it without YOU!!
