IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Mongoose Motorsports will continue to be one of the biggest cheerleaders for Cruisin’ Times Magazine as this magazine is known as “The Cruiser’s Bible”. We are looking forward to working with Vic & Magnus Garlauskas but we sure will miss all of our CTM friends. Thank you for everything you did for us!!

CRUISERS,
Over 2 years ago Cruisin’ Times Magazine closed and we worked with Andy on saving this iconic publication for our car community. Our goal was to carry on John Shapiro’s legacy, reopen the magazine and set the foundation for future generations to enjoy this publication in print and digital formats. As we approach our 3rd season, we have accomplished these goals and it was time to find a subsequent owner to take this publication to the next level. After working with a number of candidates, we found the perfect family to take over CTM. This family is local and is actively involved in the muscle car and drag racing communities. I would like to introduce you to Vic….

As lifelong car enthusiasts, my son and I are proud to step into this role as the new owners of Cruisin’ Times Magazine. Cars have always been a part of my life—from attending car shows to being involved in the racing, swap meet and show car communities. Taking on this magazine is an opportunity to preserve its incredible legacy while also bringing fresh energy and ideas to the table.

Our goal is to honor what Cruisin’ Times has meant to the car community while working hard to ensure it continues to grow and thrive for years to come. We’re looking forward to building on its foundation and sharing the stories, events, and passion that make this magazine what it is.

Keep Cruisin’!
Vic and Magnus Garlauskas

I would like to thank all of you for your support over the past few years. It hasn’t been easy, as none of us have worked in publishing or managed a business like this. There was a lot of talk when Andy closed the magazine, but only a few opened their checkbooks and took action. One was Dave Adams, by starting It’s Show Time, and the other was our group of investors. I would like to thank Bob, Kim, and Christina for seeing this project through to the change of control to a new owner. A special thank you goes out to Mark Cole, Morgan Iorio, Dave Adams, Matt Paczak, Will Paczak, Sharon Kieliszek, Craig Harrison, Steve Legerski, Don Sitts, Tricia Krause, Joe Secka, Keegan Ossler, John Stealey, Don Moyer, and many others.

I think John would be pleased with where we ended up.

Keep Cruisin!
